Join our 6-day Pickleball Retreat in Costa Rica January 11-16 and/or January 17-22, 2025. PPR Certified instructors Mike Fahey and Rich Roe are collaborating on this fun-filled pickleball retreat. We have designed this retreat for people in the 3.0-4.0 range, so this is not appropriate for beginners or pros! We are only selling 8 slots for each retreat, so reserve early!
Each day you will be able to play in the morning and afternoon. The morning will focus more on technique and drill, and we will use the afternoons to put your skills into action. On our last full day, we will have a tournament with prizes from our sponsors. In addition, the food is amazing, the people are friendly and pretty soon you’ll be living the “pure vida” lifestyle that makes Costa Rica so wonderful.
Furthermore, you can customize your experience by joining excursions like kayaking, surfing or shopping. Don’t worry, you will still have plenty of time to go to the beach or chill by the pool. Zero planning needed on your part, just sign up and have fun! You will be staying in one of several luxury properties in the resort community of Las Catalinas. This coastal town is right on the Guanacaste coast and is less than an hour from Liberia International Airport. The weather in late January is typically hot and dry, so get ready for a sunny getaway!

Mike Fahey
Mike Fahey is a professional pickleball player ranked #130 in the PA in 2023. As a certified pickleball coach since 2021, he has conducted multiple international clinics and currently teaches at Los Cab Sports Village in California. He is also a brand embassador for CRBN Pickleball.
His extensive coaching experience includes training over 1,000 players of various skill levels with many 5-star reviews. With his clear and concise coaching style, you will level up your skills and have more fun.

Rich Roe
Rich, owner of Costa Rica Retreats, has been a certified personal trainer since 1994. He has taught over 10,000 1- sessions and numerous classes to celebrities, rock stars, and fortune 500 execs. Previously he owned a gym in San Diego for 10 years and now splits his time between Laguna Beach, California and Costa Rica. Rich is an experienced guide who has been leading retreats since 2015. When not leading retreats, he’s playing pickleball, teaching pickleball, hiking, mountain biking or traveling the world. As a Wilderness First Responder and formerly on the San Diego Mountain rescue team, you are in good hands with Rich.

Giving Back!
Costa Rica Retreats is proud to partner with Finca La Estancia @ Las Catalinas for our volunteer program. This year, we will be working with a nearby elementary school and enhancing their wellness program. Nothing warms our souls more than having the chance to help others. For several of us, this is the highlight of the retreat as we get a glimpse of how these kids live and get a chance to participate in activities with them.
